Our Learning Journey - Learning through Play

All the activities children experience from Babies right up to Pre School, are a mixture of adult and child initiated in order for staff to observe and plan for each child with a varying degree of input.
Each child has a Learning Journey which details their progress through observations and examples of work. These move through nursery with the child and continue up until they finish Year 1 at school. Parents receive a summative assessment sheet each month detailing their child's achievements and this allows them to have input into their learning. This helps build a positive relationship with all of our parents and carers.
Parents are provided with a full handover at the end of their child's session, so you can be sure that your child has enjoyed their time in nursery, and remain fully informed every step of the way.
